Feliz 2014 Huerta del Valle!
Esperamos que el año nuevo ha tenido un gran comienzo para todos los miembros de HdV. Aunque la mayor parte de la costa este y el medio oeste están sufriendo el clima terriblemente frío en esta temporada ha habido mucho sol aquí en California para mantener nuestros cultivos de invierno, como las zanahorias, rábanos, y todo tipo de lechuga que crecen agradable y fuerte. HdV tiene muchos proyectos interesantes y divertidos que hemos planeado para este año que ayudarán aún más el desarrollo del proyecto y fortalecer nuestras relaciones en la comunidad- como la construcción de nuestra Área de Educación! Esperamos que todos ustedes están tan emocionados como nosotros para continuar el progreso con nosotros y lograr muchas cosas más maravillosas en la ciudad de Ontario.

We hope everybody’s year has gotten off to a great start. While most of the East coast and the Midwest are suffering terribly cold weather this season there has been plenty of sunshine here in California to keep our winter crops such as carrots, radishes, and all kinds of lettuce growing nice and strong. HdV has many exciting projects happening this year that will help further the project’s development and strengthen our ties in the community- including the construction of our Hands-on Education Area! We hope you are all as excited as we are to continue this amazing journey and accomplish many more wonderful things in the city of Ontario.
